BUILDING
FREEDOM
TOGETHER

Right now, something remarkable is happening on the banks of the Seti River in Nepal.
The Pokhara Project—years in the making, built by your generosity—is becoming a reality.
Every year, thousands of women and children are trafficked in Nepal. Taken from their families, their schools, their villages and forced into slave labour, sex work, arranged marriage and other unthinkable situations.
Our field partner, 3 Angels Nepal works tirelessly to stop it.
Last year alone they:
- Rescued and intercepted 3,436 women and children from trafficking.
- Provided shelter and empowerment to 241 survivors and women at acute risk.
- Supported 332 children in safe homes.
- And provided life-changing education to 412 students.
But this work, and its impact, is under threat.
That’s why we’re building The Pokhara Project. And why we need your help.
Building a home for healing, hope and opportunity.
A message from 3 Angels Nepal from the site of The Pokhara Project.
“This project is of such a great importance. It’s not just another school or another home that we are building. This has such a potential to impact the community as a whole.“
– Rajendra Panday, 3 Angels Nepal Co-Founder
The Pokhara Project is not about a construction project.
It’s not about the buildings.
It’s about what those buildings enable.
The healing that happens for survivors within a safe and secure environment.
The opportunities created for children inside of classrooms.
The cycles of poverty and vulnerability broken in a loving children’s home.
For 3 Angels Nepal and thousands of survivors and women and children, The Pokhara Project isn’t a construction project at all.
It’s hope. It’s a home. It’s a future where the rights of women and children are protected.
The foundations for three priority buildings are being laid right now to move the 3 Angels Nepal School and essential Children’s Home’s onsite as soon as possible.
But we need your help to finish this first phase of the build to ensure 3 Angels Nepal can continue their life-changing work.
When you give to the Pokhara Project you’re not building a construction site.
You’re building freedom. Will you build with us?

Building a safer future, for generations
This is what your giving builds.
When Yogesh was four years old, he and his family lost everything to a fire. The day his mother had a chance encounter with 3 Angels Nepal founder Rajendra Gautam changed the course of his life forever.
Yogesh and his brother were offered a place at the vulnerable children’s home. He grew up there—cared for, educated, and supported into adulthood.
Today, Yogesh is the Vulnerable Children’s Homes Program Manager at 3 Angels Nepal, making sure every child in his care gets what he once received.

“It gives me joy to see the smiles on the children’s faces as they begin to recover from their worries and past trauma…That is what I received as a child from 3 Angels Nepal, and it is what I want to ensure for the children under my care today.”

Give Freedom’s program focus is infrastructure and capacity-building work, known as The Pokhara Project, in partnership with 3 Angels Nepal. While all proposals reflect the final intent for the Pokhara Project, the changing needs of our Field Partner, the budget available and the complex nature of international development projects mean adaptations to the Pokhara Project may need to be made from time to time to achieve the best outcomes for our Field Partner, 3 Angels Nepal, at any given time. Give Freedom International reserves the right to make adaptations to the Pokhara Project to respond to these needs from time to time.

While every endeavour is made to ensure price points accurately reflect program costs, fluctuations in exchange rates, cost of building materials and unforeseen global events may impact the financial cost of implementation. Therefore, all funds raised will be pooled to cover The Pokhara Project development as a whole.
Please note that a limited proportion of these funds may be directed to disaster relief and other emergency support for our Field Partner prior to the completion of their new facilities. We guarantee that 100% of your gift goes to the field.
