Refuge for Trafficked Women
Your gift will help our Field Partner, 3 Angels Nepal, build a new safe haven for trafficked women like Sarita. The Women’s Safe Haven will provide up to 40 women with medical care, counselling, legal support, vocational training, and a strong supportive community as they begin the process of recovering from extreme trauma.
“Sarita, you have
been SOLD.”
Sarita* had just given birth when she was sold by her husband. Her baby was taken from her and never seen again.
You can help build a safe haven—where trafficked women like Sarita can find freedom, restoration, education and empowerment.
Women’s Safe Haven
The new women’s safe haven will be low maintenance, sustainable, and built to withstand Nepal’s level 5 earthquake zone and extreme monsoon conditions. The building will include acute care rooms, private and group counselling rooms, vocational training facilities and extra security such as CCTV and 24/hr onsite security.
This new home will protect and boost the capacity of 3 Angels Nepal’s anti-trafficking work for the long term—ensuring that countless more women like Ashra* can find freedom, restoration, education and empowerment.

“My family feared for my future.”
Mira* was born into the Chepang Tribe, one of the most isolated and poorest communities in Nepal.
Her family battled poverty and malnutrition daily. Mostly, they avoided starvation by surviving on tree roots.
"Sarita, you have been SOLD."
Sarita* stared at the man from her village. His words bounced away from her—she couldn’t understand them. Her body ached all over; her mind ached. She wanted to sleep. She wanted to go home. She wanted to hold her baby boy.
“I am excited to run this shop—and to teach others.”
Geeta* hums softly while she sews.
With every stitch, the young Nepali woman is reminded of how significantly her life has changed in just a few years—since she was rescued from trafficking along the India-Nepal border.
