Nepal Flood Crisis:

3 Angels Nepal’s disaster relief

After the recent landslides and flashflooding in Nepal, Give Freedom provided $25,000 in emergency relief from our program fund to help support 3 Angels Nepal deliver disaster relief.

In response to the update, our giving community showed up generously and contributed the entire $25,000 to replenish the program fund, and help support 3 Angels Nepal’ s disaster relief efforts.

The situation continues to evolve on the ground, and the long-term impact on women and children, and the work of 3 Angels Nepal is expected to be significant. 

Right now they are continuing to run their standard operations while responding to the emerging needs of their extended community.

Here’s what’s been happening:

• 3 Angels Nepal have deployed three teams into the field, supporting on-the-ground efforts to provide shelter and support to affected communities.
  
• Their team have been liaising with Government officials to monitor and advise on support for children who have been orphaned or separated from their families.
  
• 3AN have been distributing essentials to impacted communities/families such as hygiene packs, food, water, towels etc.
  
• They are working closely with the government who is coordinating the relief efforts.
