Dr Peter Beamish

Board Chair

Peter is the Director of the Christian Education Research Centre at Avondale University. He teaches Philosophy of Christian Education, Technology in Education, and Student Wellbeing in Schools and his research interests include school special character, climate and ethos, student wellbeing, outdoor education, and the use of technology to enhance learning.

Peter has travelled extensively in Asia, delivering professional development to teachers in Thailand, Cambodia, and Nepal, including at the 3 Angels Nepal School.

He is married to Debra and has an adult aged son and daughter. Peter is passionate about life, faith, and the transformative power of education for both students and educators.
