Celebrating real progress at The Pokhara Project
January 22, 2026 | News
We’re stepping into the new year with full hearts, and it’s because of you.
Thanks to your generosity during our Christmas appeal, over $50,000 was raised for The Pokhara Project, helping to create a place of safety, dignity and belonging for survivors and at-risk women and children. What an incredible way to close one year and begin another.
Your giving launched us into 2026 with hope, momentum and fresh energy to keep building with you – and what better way to say thank you than to share the progress we are making together!
As 2026 begins, we’re thrilled to share some wonderful updates from The Pokhara Project, where important foundational work is now well underway:

Clean, safe water secured
Water boring and the installation of a submersible pump have been successfully completed at The Pokhara Project site. After digging to a depth of 135 metres, clean, good-quality water was found.
This is a huge milestone. It means:
- A reliable water source throughout construction
- Long-term access to safe water for 3 Angels Nepal and women and children using The Pokhara Project facilities
- The foundation for safe, dignified water, sanitation and hygiene facilities
Water filtration and treatment will follow in the next phase.

Powering what comes next
Electrical installation to the land is currently in progress. Once complete, a final application will be submitted to the Electrical Authority, bringing the site one step closer to full connection to the grid, and to the future that’s being built there.

A safer, more secure space
Boundary fencing has now commenced, providing vital safety and protection for 3 Angles Nepal staff, women and children, and construction equipment as work continues.
Each of these milestones brings us closer to a place where women and children can be safe, supported and free for generations to come. Thank you for starting this new year with us, for your ongoing generosity and support, and for being part of a community that believes freedom is possible.
