Update from 3 Angels Nepal
September 27, 2024 | News
In the face of adversity our Field Partner 3 Angels Nepal has continued to fight for the vulnerable women and children at risk of being trafficked and sold into slavery.
The year has sadly seen escalating global conflict and increasing financial uncertainty both here and abroad, which has placed added pressure on our local partner 3 Angels Nepal.
Yet, despite this precariousness, the dedicated 3 Angels Nepal team has rescued hundreds of vulnerable women and children from modern slavery, and continues to empower thousands of Nepalis to speak out against human trafficking.
Your continued support of Give Freedom International and The Pokhara Project, is giving 3 Angels Nepal the hope they need to dream of a brighter future. A future where more women can be rescued from slavery, children can gain a school education and those at-risk have the freedom to reach their full potential.
Here are some of 3 Angels Nepal’s achievements in 2023/24:

5195 People
were rescued from slavery or had the trafficking process intercepted before they could be sold.

152 New Women
were given refuge at the 3 Angels Nepal safe haven —where they received care, education, and vocational training.

263 Students
received education at the 3 Angels Nepal school, preparing them for a brighter future.

150 Children
are living in safe alternative housing where they can laugh, play, grow and thrive.

4771 People
received anti-trafficking training through a youth-led awareness program that reached the army, police, schools and border security forces.
These remarkable achievements were made during yet another tumultuous year for our Field Partner. They deserve to be acknowledged and celebrated—and so does your support, which helped make all these achievements possible.
Thank you for standing alongside 3 Angels Nepal and helping their programmes reach more and more people at risk of trafficking every year.
Your continued support is having a genuine and lasting impact on the lives of thousands of vulnerable women and children in Nepal.
Thank you.
