What you’ll learn
At Give Freedom International, we believe the most powerful way to stop human trafficking is to prevent it before it begins.
In this powerful 90-minute online event, you’ll hear directly from those on the frontlines—our founders, Field Partners and educators—about how education is the key to breaking the cycle of human trafficking.
This webinar will explore:
- The root causes of trafficking in Nepal: poverty, caste discrimination, and lack of opportunity
- How education empowers children, supports survivors, and strengthens whole communities
- The urgent need to relocate 3 Angels Nepal’s school and build the first phase of The Pokhara Project
- How you can be part of long-term, systemic change—right now
Whether you’re a long-time supporter or new to our work, this is your chance to see how your impact goes further. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear directly from those working on the frontlines.

Dr Steve Raymond
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Steve works full-time as a specialist Gynaecologist in Newcastle, with a focus on infertility (including IVF), prenatal diagnosis, and gynaecological laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery. Born in Mauritius, he migrated to Australia at age 13, completed his education in Sydney, and graduated in Medicine from the University of Sydney in 1977.
With a career spanning over 30 years, Steve places a strong emphasis on education as the key to improving healthcare. He continually seeks to expand his knowledge to provide the best possible treatment for complex gynaecological conditions.
Steve and his wife Robyn began working with 3 Angels Nepal in 2011. His vision to co-found Give Freedom International grew from a passion to educate vulnerable communities. He believes quality education is a basic right for every child and a vital tool in the fight against human trafficking. Steve is inspired by Nelson Mandela’s quote: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

Robyn Raymond
Founder & Director
Robyn has a background as a physiotherapist in orthopaedics, sports medicine, and neuro-developmental paediatrics. She now divides her time between family, managing Steve Raymond’s Specialist Gynaecology practice, acting as an international ambassador for 3 Angels Nepal, and her work as a co-founder of Give Freedom International.
Robyn is committed to addressing human rights injustices, particularly human trafficking. In 2010, she was inspired by Max Lucado’s book Outlive Your Life to make a difference. Lucado’s advice that “no-one can do everything but everyone can do something” continues to motivate her. Robyn’s passion for empowering vulnerable communities through education is continually renewed through her visits to Nepal.
